In IE7 V7.0.5730.11
I am having BIG problems that is making Spell Catcher unusable :(

I type
"The cow jumpedd over the mooon"

And after selecting the correct spelling I get
"The cowjumped over themoon"

When using shorthand, I type my shorthand word and should get

<font color="red" size="3"><marquee direction="right" behavior="ALTERNATE" WIDTH="10%" SCROLLAMOUNT=1>Eno</marquee></font>

but get

<<font color=""red"" size=""3""><marquee direction=""right"" behavior=""ALTERNATE" WWIDTH=""10%%" SSCROLLAMOUNT=1>>Eno<</marquee>></font>

"If I type a sentance like this in spellcatcher I get."

I get

"IIf I type asentence like this inSSpellCCatcherII get."

Any capitalisation gives a double first letter
Any spelling corrections that I go back to joins the word with the last word.

Just to type this has been a pain in that I have had to correct the problems as they come up, I am not a good spella  so need spell catcher to help me.

HELP please :excl:

Eno

Thanks for writing,

It's time to publish an update for Vista and IE7.

You can update your Spell Catcher installation by downloading from the following link:

<http://www.rainmakerinc.com/dl/updates/SCUpgradeVista.exe>

This update is PRELIMINARY, and FREE for all to try. It installs on top of an existing #1842 installation. The files that are being replaced are moved into a backup folder in "Program Files/Spell Catcher Plus", so no files are actually erased from your disk during the update process.

I had to rewrite the word replacement code to handle a few peculiarities with IE7 and Vista.

If you notice something not working properly, please let me know by sending an e-mail to "beta at rainmakerinc dot com".

If you have any questions, please contact me at the address above.

Thanks,
