I'm having a problem with Text Expander and Spell Catcher X. If I have Spell Catcher X on, and Text Expander auto corrects a misspelled word, the space bar will no longer work. I have only tested it in Mail and Text Edit.
I have made a short video to show you what is happening. In the video I type thta instead of that so that Text Expander will kick in and fix the mistake. With Spell Catcher X turned off, everything works as it should. As soon as I enable it, after expanding a word, I can no longer use my space bar. I must use my arrow key to go back a space and then forward a space to get the space bar to work again.
Any ideas?

Let me make a guess: You have enabled "prevent double spaces" in the SP preferences. When TextExpander corrects the mistake, SP doesn't "see" this because it isn't done via the input method and, therefore, SP still remembers only your last keyboard entry and that was a space. Could that be? Try if you could enter a space while holding the SHIFT key down. This would overwrite the "prevent double space" setting. As said, just a quick guess...

Awesome. Thanks guys. I turned off “Prevent double spaces” and that has fixed the problem. Really appreciate the help.
