I downloaded and used SpellCatcher in trial mode for about 10 days os so with no problem. But then I suddenly noticed that that "comforting" alert "CURIOUS" was suddenly missing and I had errors. I can spell. However, I am a one finger typist that has to look at the keyboard whiIe I type.
I went into preferences and checked alerts etc. I figured perhaps my time for the trial was running out, so I paid, got my keycode and re-booted etc. NO DIFFERENCE! So now I am a paid subscriber and not getting the benefit of the program. . . .any thoughts?
Thanks. Don

Is Spell Catcher selected in the Input menu? Do you see the yellow checkmark in the menu bar?
Thank you! It took me a while to figure out where the error was. Under Language I had both the US and spell catcher selected. I unchecked US and the menu bar symbol switched from the US Flag to the Spell Catcher yellow checkmark.

If so, that's probably not the best idea. You should keep both U.S. and Spell Catcher turned "On", as you say was the case when you initially looked. Instead, what you want to do is choose Spell Catcher from the Input menu (if it's showing a flag icon in the menu bar rather than the yellow checkmark) to activate it.
Alternatively, you can click the "Activate Now" button that's in Spell Catcher’s Preferences window, Interactive pane (bottom part of the window).
