My partner and I use the shorthand glossaries as marking rubrics for student assignments. I'm wondering if anybody knows how to export/import glossaries between spell catcher users.

The simplest way right now (before MobileMe syncing arrives in some future upgrade) is to simply use the Finder to copy the files from one user to the other. Quit the Spell Catcher app, then copy them over the existing files. Use file sharing (or the like) between computers. Between users on the same machine, best to use the "other user's" Public/Drop Box. Switch users and copy from there. Alternatively, for users on the same Mac, you can put the shared references in the (top-level) /Library/Application Support/Spell Catcher/References folder (create if necessary). You should probably move the files (not copy) so there's only one copy in the References Preference Pane (in Spell Catcher). If both users have admin accounts, be careful about changing shared files if both users have the Spell Catcher application running.

(BTW, Spell Catcher files can exist pretty much anywhere on your hard drive or mounted server volume. So you can also share between machines via File Sharing. Use aliases if that helps your file organization.
