This may be old news here, but it was news to me that Vice X installers made with version 3.3 will crash if the Spell Catcher input device is selected. While the fix was simple, changing back to the keyboard, I lost a lot of time before a tech support person for the creator of the software I was installing found that solution. He sent me this link:

I'm a big Spell Catcher fan from way back, and have recommended it to all customers who bought my law office management software, the Ombudsman (www.theombudsman.com), but I've never warned them about this issue. I just thought you should know in case you can do something about it.

NOW, to get installer authors to rebuild their old ViseX installers with the latest version of ViseX - that's another story…
