Since updating to Word 2011 Mac, Spell Catcher has difficulty auto completing errors when tabbing between fields on a form. For example, if I enter "ddd" to enter an expanded date intending to be Month day, year; what is entered is "dd Month day, year". The "dd" persists, Spell Catcher having replaced the third "d" with the expansion. If I redo this by re-selecting the field and overtyping, it will sometimes correctly expand the entry without any remaining d's. Ideas? Thanks.

It looks like Word 2011 has some sort of bug with respect to properly passing tab keypresses to input methods. I can't find any work around. I'll try to find some time to investigate it more thoroughly in the next few days. Seems to be a problem with both Spell Catcher’s input method component and input method application.

Using Auto-Show Completions and selecting a completion with a number key seems to work…

Sorry about that. I set Spell Catcher to function as you noted above and have had better results, however, often the first field completion continues to have the residual characters but when I reenter the ddd a second time, it works normally with no residual d’s. Hmmm.
