Thanks for your assistance. I use Sc regularly but with increasing frequency, I can be in the middle of typing and the font changes from Cambria to Arial and the size increases and this only happens in Apple Mail. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on? This has not always happened and I cannot think of any install or other change I made that preceded it.

Are you composing a plain or rich text message?
What's your default composing font?
Can you reproduce this? If so, steps to reproduce?
Are you really seeing this in the "middle of typing", or when Spell Catcher is making some sort of correction or automatic replacement?

Hi Evan and thanks for your note. Here we go...

Are you composing a plain or rich text message?
Plain in Apple Mail

What's your default composing font?
Cambria

Can you reproduce this? If so, steps to reproduce?
The only thing thatI can reproduce is that when I type the word "from" it goes from Cambria to Arial and changes size. I'm attaching an example.

Are you really seeing this in the "middle of typing", or when Spell Catcher is making some sort of correction or automatic replacement?
Ah - you are correct - it happens when I go from "form" to "from" which is a recorded correction. Should I delete that correction and respecify it? Thanks so much for your help. Neil

I doubt it has anything to do with that specific shorthand, maybe something to do with the "form" of it (like sharing the same initial letter with the abbreviation and expansion), or the text surrounding it in the context of its use.

Could be some sort of WebKit bug as well. I'll have to investigate an the in the next few days.

See if you can find a pattern as well.
