Just bought SC and it seems great. Still have to figure out how to use certain features, but all in good time. I am trying to figure out how to turn off the woman's voice of every time I misspell a word....which is a lot. I have looked in the preferences, but can seem to find that feature. Also I am in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop all day and every time time is use the keyboard shortcut "command" and "space bar" to zoom in on a area I keep getting a dialog box that says " Spell Catcher" "US". I've looked in the shortcuts area, but don't see that one listed. How do I turn that off?
Thanks

Isn't it Preferences > Alerts > Select "Spelling" in: "Error Type/Action" section > Uncheck "Play" box over "Sound" list?

Turning of the sound is answered above.
To change cmd+space to work as expected in Adobe applications open "System Preferences", go to "Keyboard" (I'm using Norwegian, so I'm not sure I'm using the correct names now).
In the tab called something like "keyboard shortcuts", the one to the right, and on the left window you should select "Keyboard and something" where you should find in the right side the "cmd+space"shortcut that interfere whit your work.
This is on 10.6.7, this is a little different on older systems.
Hope this helps.
