Somehow during the process of updating to 10.4 I got stuck in the trial period (to buy), and I don’t know how to get rid of the pop up window during logon, humph?

Did you refresh your license key? If you were eligible for a free upgrade, or had already purchased the Spell Catcher X 10.4 upgrade, you now be licensed. If you don't qualify for a free upgrade, you'll see the "Purchase Upgrade" button become available.
