I am using 10.3.7 with Apple Mail 4.3 and OS 10.6.4. Every now and then, when I type a shorthand item in Mail, the program freezes when expanding it. Then I have to force quit mail and start over again. Has anyone else seen a problem like this? It happens rarely, but it is perplexing.
