When I try to use a shorthand in iTerm, the first letter of the abbreviation doesn't go away.
For example:
1) I want s2n to expand to "<html></html>". In iTerm, when I type s2n it expands to "s<html></html>."
2) "teh" expands to "tthe".
This issue does not occur in Terminal.app. I tried reinstalling SC and unchecking "Make replacements directly..." to no avail.

Yeah, I can reproduce this. I don't yet know why it's happening. Often Terminal apps are poorly behaved when it comes to handling text input from input methods.

I'll try to find some time to see exactly what's up. But if Terminal is working for you, why not use it for now?
