Moving forward with Spell Catcher X 10.4, in order to support new features in Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), Apple requires developers use Xcode 4.1 (and later) on Lion. Xcode 4 and later no longer support building PowerPC products, so moving development of Spell Catcher X to Xcode 4.1.x on Lion means that ppc support has to be dropped. This is only really relevant to those using Spell Catcher X 10.4 with Mac OS X 10.5.x (Leopard) on PowerPC hardware.

In other words, Spell Catcher X 10.4.1 and later would be intel-only.

I wanted to get a feel for what the possible impact of dropping ppc support in future versions of Spell Catcher X 10.4.x would be.
