John,
I recall that when you added the Backspace functionality into an Expansion, you also added the ability to include control keys and function keys in Expansions. I make extensive use of the Backspace key(s) but I'd like some examples of how other control keys and function keys can be used.
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,
Sorry about the delay in reply... this one skipped through my detection grid!
There is some documentation in Spell Catcher's online help about this feature. See the section in Tips and Hints, called Expansion Enhancements.
As an example, you can create an expansion which will convert "p1" into "<p></p>" with the insertion point positioned mid-expansion. This expansion looks like this in the glossary -> <p></p><LEFT4>. Make sure that the trailing separator is suppressed if you are going to try creating this glossary entry. I think that it is already defined in the current release.
Happy New Year,
John
