when I hit the space bar after typing a glossary shortcut, what I've typed is deleted. scx is on in international, it's in the menu bar, glossary is checked in preferences, I added the app while it was not open. expansion works in Word and here. what do I do now?

It sounds like another case of an app possibly not handling text from an input method quite right, but I would have to reproduce this myself to know for sure.

I'll see if they have a trial version, meanwhile you should ask the developers of Reunion whether their program *should* properly handle text from an input method.

Well, it doesn't look good.

Reunion doesn't properly handle input from any input method, including Apple's own that ship with OS X.

You might want to ask them why this is (it actually takes some effort to behave the way their app does - it's quite "unusual")...

To see for yourself, try Apple's Hangul (Korean, but allows roman characters to be typed) in direct input mode. No dice. Input by word is even worse...

Same for Apple's Kotoeri input method, see the result in full-width Roman mode.

I don't think there's anything that I can possibly do on my end. Ask them what development tools they built their app with, that might help me a little.

(side note - I love the alert you get when you choose Preferences from the Reuinion menu:

"Preferences in Reunion are in the Options menu."

 )
