Hello,

Would it be possible to add a "timeout" feature to SPX? By this I mean that if you type then do not use the keyboard for some user defined amount of time, SPX forgets the last characters entered and starts spell checking anew.

Here's why I would like this: I use shorthand glossary entries to enter frequently entered info on web forms (logins, addresses, etc). Oftentimes this feature doesn't work because I typed something on another page/app and I must tab and shift tab fields in order for the shorthand entries to work. It is almost more work than just typing the phrase. If there was a user definable timeout (with on/off feature), this might not be an issue. What do you think?

Thanks,
Julius

This problem may well just go away (for the most part) in the next version of SCX.

Meanwhile, there is a MUCH better way to "reset" interactive checking. Just hit an arrow key (and another if you need to reposition the insertion point back to where it was), or click the mouse.
