I'm running Panther. I still use OS 9 applications, including Now-Up-To-Date, Word 98, etc. I have SpellCatcher 8 installed but it doesn't seem to work all that great. If I upgrade to SpellCatcher for OS X, will I be able to spell check both in Panther as well as apps running in Classic?

Thanks-

Jeremy

You need Spell Catcher 8 for Classic apps, X for OS X native apps.

SCX can work a *little bit* with Classic apps (NO interactive, that's totally impossible) via the Dock menu's various "selection" operations.

In short, if you want interactive checking in both operating systems, you need Spell Catcher for each.
