I cannot close the SpellCatcher box by hitting the return key even though
it is flashing blue. I am forced to mouse click on flashing blue button to get it to close.

Using Mac OS X 10.3.2
SpellCatcher 10.0.2

Type command-return, that will "click" the Ignore button.

Or if you make the Suggest Spelling window the "key" window (click the title bar, choose Suggest Spelling from the input menu, click in the "Use:" text field) then typing return will activate the button.

This behavior (pulsing button, even though the Suggest Spelling window does NOT have the focus) is somewhat questionable, and has been cleaned up significantly for Spell Catcher X version 10.1.
