I have been a user of Spell Catcher ever since it came out. It is a great product, and I just want you to know how much I appreciate the ability to turn off all of the other spell checkers, and just let Spell Catcher go at it - One dictionary - It is amazing!

I have a product idea for you, something that was available long ago but is not currently available, and don't know if it is appropriate to post it here, or if I should contact you directly about it. Guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks again for making a great product!

I agree. Thanks for making this forum and the program links readily available.

I have found only one place SpellChecker (Mac - 9.1) won't work. It's great!

I look forward to a complete site.

I agree, SpellCatcher X is a must have for my work. But most of all I appreciate the support Evan has provided for his products. Thanks for many years of top notch support.

I've been using SpellCatcher since before it _was_ SpellCatcher -- when it was still called Thunder-7. I have always found it to be indispensable.

I should also add that I regret the loss of Casdy&Greene, who's product support and customer relations have always been top-notch. I feel badly for the company and its executives and for all of its employees.

I look forward to receiving the same fine service from Rainmaker, and hope that SpellCatcher is around for many more versions to come.

I still try to steer everyone I can to Spell Catcher. It is the second most used program on my computer after the OS period. Henry Drygas

I too have used Spell Catcher since the Thunder 7 days and held off switching to OS X until I knew Spell Catcher would be ready soon. I was so delighted when I could finally download my pre-ordered copy and have been happily using it every since that first day. I was so grateful to Evan then and I am grateful again today to know we will have this message board, support, upgrades, etc.

I am very sorry about the demise of C&G and was very sad this morning. I do hope all involved will be able to go forward in their own way.

Thanks for this website and the continuation of Spell Catcher!! I will continue to recommend it to friends.

I've been using SpellCatcher since the days of System 6, I believe. I seem to recall "Thunder 7" being a name change when the program moved from System 6 to System 7. It has been a mainstay of my system, the first thing I want to install when I've upgraded my OS. As a writer by trade, I could not do without it. Not just for spelling correction, but for the thesaurus, the definitions, and the glossary. I can't even begin to estimate how many hours of typing SpellCatcher has saved me over the years!

I'm delighted to see names I recognize still supporting and continuing to develop the product. The demise of Casady & Greene is tragic, but I am reassured to find SpellCatcher continuing.

All the luck in the world! A Mac isn't completely a Mac without SpellCatcher! B)

As allenwatson says - a mac isn't a 'complete" mac with thunder and now spell catcher. As an unlucky guy to have purchased the download a few days before C and G sank, I look forward to being able to log on and download.. I'll tune in and try to "cope" till you guys are back on track - good luck.

One of my MAJOR hesitations in moving to X was the lack of an X version of SC.

If you purchased just a few days before C&G went away, you should call your credit card company and tell them what happened. Chances are good they have a policy for this kind of thing and can do it.

See my note in the Contact section.
