Spell Catcher X 10.1.1 and Spell Catcher Plus 2.5.2 will contain the above thesaurus plus a NEW, EVEN MORE comprehensive thesaurus. You will be able to look up words in both (or either or none) at the same time. These versions are expected to ship within 2 weeks. These were going to be minor, bug-fix type updates, but turned into much more than that!

Specs on the upcoming thesaurus (I don't actually have them in the same form as above yet - the below may not be 100% correct w.r.t. referring to the counts in the Merriam-Webster database):

70,711 unique words, compared to 42,239 unique words in the other (Merriam-Webster) database.
From these 70,711 lookup words, 100,786 thesaurus entries are provided containing a total return of 680,771 synonyms/classmates.

The new Franklin thesaurus provides the following:
- Up-to-date content (a somewhat less formal presentation and wording)
- 23% more synonyms
- 30% more entries
- 67% more lookup words

I've been working with both thesaurus databases for a little while now, and they complement each other rather nicely!

Additionally, the US English main spelling database has been updated. Don't have the spec for it yet, though. We will shortly.

We also have new languages coming with these releases - Canadian English, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese (these will be an extra $10 each).

Hope that helps (and yes, 10.1.1/2.5.2 will totally free for 10.1/2.5.1 owners)!
