Sometimes (frequently actually) my expansions will expand in all CAPS. I tap on the 'Caps Lock' key twice and then the expansion works OK... for awhile. This happens several times a day.
Today I also had a spelling correction and Spell Catcher Plus 2.0.4 backed out about half a paragraph, made the spelling correction, and reentered the text. But everything Spell Catcher put back in was in CAPS.
I am using Spell Catcher Plus 2.0.4 in Windows 2000.
Any ideas?

Hang in there, see if you can pin down the problem to the point it's reproducible, and note which apps it does (or doesn't) happen in.

John's out of town until Thursday (a trip scheduled prior to the demise of C&G and the beginning of this place) so he'll have to get back to you then. As far as *I* know (which isn't everything about the Windows version) this isn't a problem we're aware of.

I know it happens in Netscape 7.1. I will try to determine if it happens elsewhere. I hadn't considered that it may be isolated to an application.

Hi,
I'm back from Niagara Falls, it's still flowing and the place is looking pretty good. If you're planning on going don't bother with the "House of Frankenstein"... it's a little silly.
In any case I suggest you try downloading the upgrade to version 2.1.4, you can get it by clicking the Downloads link at the top of our home page (www.rainmakerinc.com)... at least this way we'll be on the same page.
Version 2.0.4 is several years old and I have done some work on interactive replacement since then...
Get back to us if you see the same effects when using 2.1.4.

Thanks John! Version 2.1.4 seems to have cured the problem.
EDIT [06-Aug-03]: I still have instances where the text is inserted in ALL CAPS. It just seems that it is not as frequent.
