Sure, help tags (aka tool tips) are a pretty basic thing that most OS X applications should provide, but are often easy to overlook (or not a whole lot of help).
Spell Catcher X makes additional effort in certain areas to context-sensitive help tags as well.
Hover the mouse over a disabled Learn or Shorthand button (for instance) to see a brief explanation of [i]why[/] the button is disabled. Hover over an enabled Learn or Shorthand button and you'll see the exact word (or abbreviation -> expansion) that will be added, and which reference document it will be added to.
Buttons like "Check All" and "Check Paragraphs" in the Check Selection window show additional power-user-type information as well, like what happens when you option-click the button.
When in doubt, hover the mouse!
