Hi,
I've written to you about this a while ago regarding disabling SCP while using windows command cmd window. I think you response was that the app by design does not and should not work in this window. However, it does work and It changes cd to CD and dir to DIR and so forth. I could not get the app to detect cmd windows and disable it. Any ideas please?

Hi,
Spell Catcher should not normally be operating in Windows "Command Prompt" window; however, I have seen it work (temporarily) in this window for some reason.
The keyboard hooks that Spell Catcher installs to track keyboard activity are only supposed to work in 32 bit applications. On my machine, running Windows XP Home (with service pack 2), Spell Catcher doesn't normally track keyboard activity - though it did report an error once for some reason.
This being said, I don't doubt that your installation of Spell Catcher is working in the Command Prompt window.
What version of Windows are you using?
Can you turn off Spell Catcher's interactive checking when working in the cmd window?
Thanks,

Using WinXP Pro SP1. I have tought SCP successfully to ignore many of the apps I use. However, for some reason, it never picked up command window so I can disable it. You know, I use it to as telnet client and in Unix case sensitivity is important.
