I just want to express my sympathy to the employees of C&G for the loss of their company. I had no idea the company was in such difficult shape, so I was shocked to get the farewell email. You published great products and provided terrific support. Most of all, you made the lives of computer users easier and more enjoyable. Good luck to all of you in whatever you do.
Good Luck To C&g Employees

Let me add my best wishes to all who were associated with C&G. They offered many quality products and excelled in supporting customers. They also exhibited unusually high business ethics. It's sad to lose this extraordinary company.
On the positive side, I'm happy to see that Spell Catcher will continue to be supported and upgraded by Evan and his team. This is truly one of the most useful items on my computer. If a moderate charge is deemed necessary for the next upgrade, count me in!

I also would like to say how much I've depended upon the Casady & Greene products and their support through the years. Such nice people. It's very sad to see this company disappear. Gratefully we have not lost Spell Catcher in the dissolution. Good Luck, guys! And thanks for a great product.

Not knowing the extent of the C&G demise and events leading up to it, I cannot comment. But I will say this: C&G promoted great products, useful products that make working on my MAC anything but tedious. I was very saddened by the closing of their "doors," but from what I have heard since then, the employess deserve lots of credit for "hanging in there" during these tough, negative economic times. I, for one, have benefitted tremendously from SpellCatcher, Grammarian, and other non-gaming software promoted by C&G.
BTW, one thing I'd like to see in Spellcatcher is a control strip app for Spellcatcher (8.6 - 9.x).
Good fortune and God Bless!
Sincerely,
Michael
