Well, my first-ever public beta (except for interim input method components, I guess).

A bit scary, but reports from 3 rounds with my usual testers are positive.

It has never been tested on a real Intel Mac - I don't have mine yet. It has, of course, been tested on a DTK Intel Mac!

It's beta. It may have bugs. New users on a PowerPC Mac - please don't install this beta - get the latest release version from our Downloads page.

Intel Mac owners - you must install this version, as PowerPC-only input method components cannot be used at all on Intel.

Other experienced users, feel free. This has not been through our usual extensive, thorough, and long testing cycle.

But we don't want to leave the Mac owners that may have just received their new "toy" in the cold, at least as far as Spell Catcher X goes!

Please, pretty please, read the "What's New in 10.2.2", "Read Me" and "Release Notes" documents that are on the installation disk image before you install!

And yes, it's going to be (already is!) a free update if you already own Spell Catcher X 10.2 (have an "X102" license code).

Get it from the "Get Updates and Languages" window in the Spell Catcher X app, or from our Pre-Release Downloads page.
